Under the deal, 3D Systems will acquire all outstanding shares of Cimatron, paying about $97 million for its new acquisition. Since 1982, Cimatron has grown to be a key player in the industrial design market, serving clients from the aerospace, consumer electronics, toys, medical, optics and telecom, and automotive industries. OurCrowd’s portfolio company Apploi, a recruiting platform for businesses in high-turnover service and support industries like retail and restaurants, was featured on Fox Business, a leading American business news television channel. In the interview with Risk & Reward‘s Deirdre Bolton, Apploi CEO Adam Lewis discusses how Apploi’s mobile platform aims to simplify the hiring process and also offers technology to turn a higher number of inmates into employees.
