OurCrowd’s portfolio company ElMindA featured in the Times of Israel

OurCrowd portfolio company ElMindA was featured in The Times of Israel, an English-language news website covering Israel, the region & the Jewish world. ElMindA is the world’s first FDA-cleared neuronal functional assessment tool. ElMindA’s solution uniquely measures how different parts of the brain communicate by uploading measured neural activity into the cloud where proprietary algorithms map out neural association. Fresh from its recent award as one of the 49 most innovative startups in the world by the World Economic Forum, Israeli biotechnology firm ElMindA, developers of the world’s first FDA-approved neural functional assessment tool to visualize serious brain trauma and illnesses, announced last week that it had received $28 million in a Series C financing round. ElMindA had to turn away investors anxious to put their money into what could be the next big Israeli med tech exit, according to investment experts familiar with the firm. OurCrowd portfolio company Cimagine was featured in Wired UK, a popular news site and magazine covering technology, culture, business, and politics. Cimagine hopes to boost sales and increase consumer confidence by providing a mobile platform on which to visualize merchandise three dimensionally in their intended locations. Cimagine provides a markerless augmented reality (AR) visualisation platform for retailers and brands, which enables users to visualise products in life-like 3D, at a click of a button. […] Cimagine was chosen by Forbes, Microsoft and Coca-Cola as one of Israel’s most promising start-ups, and boasts the largest implementation of AR in retail to date with Shop Direct, and the world’s first Endless AR showroom at John Lewis – two of the UK’s largest retailers.
