Nationally distributed Canadian newspaper, The Globe and Mail, featured OurCrowd portfolio company Argo (ReWalk) and quoted OurCrowd’s CEO Jon Medved about the unique Israeli startup ecosystem. When U.S. President Barack Obama visited Israel in March, he stopped at the Israel Museum… [and] met with seven groups of inventors whose products exemplify the best of Israeli innovation. As part of the demonstration, a paraplegic, strapped into ReWalk, a battery-operated exoskeleton suit created by Argo Medical Technologies, walked confidently around the room.   It’s relatively easy to raise money for Israeli startups because the industry has such a solid track record, Mr. Medved says.   Argo raised $1,280,000 from OurCrowd investors in June 2013.
