OurCrowd’s portfolio company ReWalk featured in the Times of Israel

OurCrowd’s portfolio company ReWalk was featured in The Times of Israel, an English-language news website covering Israel, the region & the Jewish world. ReWalk is the developer of the FDA-approved ReWalk exoskeleton device, providing paraplegics with an independent, natural walking experience that provides them numerous social, psychological, and physical benefits. With the help of Israeli technology, a disabled IDF veteran paralyzed in a car accident 12 years ago was able to walk down the aisle. Dudu Shevy, 32, was loaned a Rewalk Robotics exoskeleton system for his wedding day, Channel 2 reported. After seeing the technology on TV, Shevy turned to the Israeli developer to ask to loan the equipment (the system costs some NIS 250,000 to buy). The ReWalk developer, Amit Goffer, who is paralyzed himself, agreed. ReWalk raised $1,320,000 from OurCrowd investors in June 2013. Read more on The Times of Israel...
