Huge companies have development and research centers in Israel. These centers are very strategic and have Israeli leadership running them
.
Microsoft has an R&D center in Hertziliya Intel has and R&D center in Haifa Apple is planning on opening a center in Israel Google has R&D centers in Tel Aviv and Haifa.
Although these R&D centers have Israeli leadership and have a huge impact on the performance of the company, we have yet to see anyone from these companies take a CEO position.

With the nearing retirement of Intel’s CEO Paul Otellini, it begs the question: who is next in line?

Israel is the present and future of Intel

It is a reasonable assumption that Eden could very well be the next CEO of Intel. Intel Israel is one of Israel’s largest private sector employers, employing over 8,000 people with an average export of $2.5 billion annually in the last two years! Yet exporting $2.5 billion annually may not be a direct correlation to the quality of the CEO.

Israel Intel Spotisraelucf

A CEO must have courage and the strength to innovate in times where innovation doesn’t seem necessary. That is exactly what Eden did. In 2000, Intel Israel developed a chip that is responsible for nearly 50% of Intel’s profits. Otellini has been the CEO for 40 years, but in the last year, the stock price has fallen over 30 percent from $29 to $19. The company is in desperate need of a new CEO, with the courage and strength to keep the company pumping. It is very likely that we will see Eden as the new CEO of Intel in the near future.

Israeli CEOs chime in

RT @AmirOrad: Great article: Why Intel’s next CEO should come from Israel. http://qz.com/29176/why-intels-next-ceo-should-come-from-israel/ #intel #israel #startupnation #hitech @amiroradOurCrowd Israel

Reverse Aliyah: Israeli CEOs to the world

It is time that the leadership in Israel that has become the backbone of many companies move to higher positions with more responsibility.
