My son’s four-year-old Toshiba laptop has been dying a slow death. Oh, sure we made the Windows 10 upgrade as soon as Microsoft made it available, which seemingly encouraged the machine to run even slower. We resigned ourselves to the reality that it was time for a new laptop – especially for the new school year that starts later this summer. And I figured we’d donate the old one to a local school, which I tend to do with our outmoded PC’s.
