AOL recently announced its acquisition of video advertising platform, Adap.tv. In a deal that should be worth a total of $405M, this is yet another major buyout in the startup nation of 2013. To spark innovation, Israel to open 3D printing centers
As 3D printing technology is going viral around the world, The Reut Institute wants to offer 3D printing to the masses in Israel. Currently operating one 3D printing center, called the Communal Technological Space (CTS) CEO Roy Keidar says the institute plans to open more facilities throughout Israel, allowing innovators of all ages see their dreams come to life with inexpensive materials and open source technologies.
