Computer vision sports companies Magnus Sports Group and PlaySight are partnering on data and video integration for the complementary optical tracking and AI technologies. Magnus owns and operates Yakkertech, a ball flight tracking solution widely used in college baseball and in the independent MLB-affiliated Frontier League. PlaySight, meanwhile, is an automated, multiview camera system that provides instant replay, streaming and other broadcast production tools whose services are used by ESPN and FloBaseball.
