Volvo Energy and UK battery storage company Connected Energy have announced a collaboration to repurpose used Volvo electric vehicle (EV) batteries into new battery storage systems. This initiative aims to give a second life to EV batteries, which still retain up to 80% of their original energy storage capacity after they are no longer suitable for use in vehicles.
