[C2A Security in TechTime] “Car makers set up vehicle security centers”

Amidst the impending regulation entering effect in July 2024 for stricter security standards, and increasing cyber threats in the automotive sector, Car Makers (Original Equipment Manufacturers -OEMs) and Tier-1 system suppliers are establishing internal Security Operations Centers (SOCs). These control centers, often referred to as vSOC (vehicle SOC), continuously oversee the cybersecurity aspects of the operational system, led by information security experts.
