Chatty artificial intelligence robot companions are being handed out to New York City’s elderly population, in a bid to curb loneliness. The state Office for the Aging is partnering with Intuition Robotics and has already handed out hundreds of artificial intelligence companions, CBS reports. Some 150 devices are still available, the title added.
