Big data analytics company SiSense raises $30 million
SiSense, a Tel Aviv-based business intelligence startup has secured a $30 million investment round. Founded in 2004 by CEO Amit Bendov, SiSense is democratizing Big Data Analytics by pioneering a new approach that enables organizations of all sizes to make sense of their data. The funding will be used to help drive more business for SiSense in the US. SiSense has an office in NY and plans to open an office in Silicon Valley by early next year. To read more, click here.

Moovit, a crowdsourced public transportation app, and Lyft, a ridesharing app, announced that they would be joining forces to help make commutes easier by providing public transit users with access to a community of rideshare drivers. Based in Israel, Moovit combines transit data with live input from the crowd to give users an idea about what their commute will be like.
