Palfinger cooperates with the US company ICON, to further develop large-format robotics for 3D printing in the construction industry. The collaboration is aimed at systems at the interface between the construction industry, automation and digital manufacturing. For Palfinger, the project is an expansion of its own business beyond traditional lifting and crane systems, while ICON couples its printing technology with industrial mechanics and system integration for larger applications.
