[Civan Lasers in The Fabricator] Laser proves effective in the welding of thick steel sections

For years, the naval industry has faced the challenge of optimizing complex production processes, where welding thick sections is a critical factor. Italy-based Castellini, a designer and producer of complex welding systems, collaborated with Fincantieri, a Trieste, Italy-based shipbuilding firm, to develop an in-depth study on the use of Civan Lasers’ Dynamic Beam Laser (DBL) to weld thick steel sections.
