Vodafone Italia’s second brand Ho Mobile has joined forces with web platform Treedom to launch a project designed to offset the CO2 emitted when transporting its SIMs with the planting of thousands of trees. The world needs to plant 353 billion trees, or the equivalent of 50 per person, to halt climate change, according to some estimates. Although not quite on that scale, one organization hopes to make an impact by offering an easy way for members of the public to plant trees.
