OurCrowd and GE prescribe $1M for MedAware’s sales health
MedAware, an OurCrowd portfolio company, has closed its investment of $1 million from GE Ventures and OurCrowd investors. This financing round marks the first investment the venture capital arm of GE, GE Ventures, has made as part of the strategic co-investment partnership OurCrowd signed with the firm back in November 2013. The show was widely viewed in Israel and encouraged an Israeli youth to pursue the hi-tech dream. Israeli schools ranked among top in cyber research
Two Israeli universities made a list of the top 100 schools in the world for cyber research, put together by an expert at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, using a new system he developed. His school ranks 49, and the Technion – Israel Institute of Science comes in 91st. The ranking is notable since the system gives a non-averaged score, rewarding volume. That means larger universities have an advantage, and the two Israeli schools are relatively small. To read more, click here.
