OurCrowd’s portfolio companies MedAware, ReWalk Robotics, Freightos, BillGuard, Zula, and Consumer Physics were featured in award-winning tech magazine Fast Company’s annual report on The World’s Most Innovative Companies.

MedAware, ReWalk Robotics, Freightos, BillGuard, and Zula were listed in the top 10 most innovative companies of 2015 in Israel. ReWalk also ranked 2nd in the Robotics sector and Consumer Physics ranked 10th in the Food category.

Plenty of prototypes exist out there to put nutrition and allergy scanners into the hands of consumers, but Israeli company Consumer Physics is the first to bring that power to market with its SCiO, which begins shipping this summer.

Seeded by OurCrowd and top tier Silicon Valley VC Khosla Ventures, Consumer Physics raised $3,300,000 from OurCrowd investors in its 2nd round of funding in May 2014.

Freightos’ clients include such giants as Ceva Logistics and Apex Logistics; for one client, Kestrel, Freightos estimates having saved it $150,000 annually in labor costs and, within 60 days, more than quadrupling its monthly average of quotes generated.

Freightos raised $550,000 from OurCrowd investors in November 2012 and $110,000 in a follow-on funding round in September 2013.

Akin to a bank asking a customer to verify the authenticity of suspicious charges, BillGuard’s new data-breach feature detects patterns that could mean that the person’s credit-card number was stolen.

BillGuard raised $3,896,064 from OurCrowd investors in August 2014.

ReWalk Robotics’ model essentially walks for its wearer, balancing and adjusting its gait as it steps forward, and proving a first glimpse of a future where exoskeletons are as commonplace as wheelchairs.

ReWalk raised $1,320,000 from OurCrowd investors in June 2013.

MedAware’s Prescription Analysis and Alert System analyzes the prescription a health care provider enters, compares it to the patient’s records and to other patients with the same condition, analyzes the provider’s prescribing patterns, and approves the prescription within seconds or flags it.

MedAware raised $1 million from GE Ventures and OurCrowd investors in 2014.
